Concrete goal: Increased time in prayer and the Word.
That is Christianese for "spending time talking and listening to God and spending time reading the Bible and meditating on its contents". I believe this is the root of all other affected areas in my life. Scripture says that the wise man loves the law of the Lord and meditates on it day and night. That he (or she) is like a tree planted by streams of water which yields fruit in its season. (Psalm 1). I want to be wise by the Lord's standards. I want to yield fruit for Him. I want to know Him more and more.
